I can’t be the first person to tell you that textbooks are exorbitantly priced these days, right? If I am, wow. You’ve certainly been living under a rock for the past decade.
The happiness of the beginning of the college semester is always cut by the bitter realization that you are about to blow about 87 percent of your hard-earned paychecks on textbooks you probably will not even read. Even worse, the bliss of the end of the college semester is always ruined by the fact that you will only get about $3 back for each individual textbook that originally cost more than $200.
It’s an awful, awful cycle, my friends. Luckily, it’s not wholly tragic. You can use those textbooks for loads of things far more useful than a “college education.” Not only will you engage in a new form of procrastination, but then stress-relief will certainly be like no other.
