Whether you’re religious or not, The Passion is going to be an event to see.
The latest live musical to air on television isn’t Grease or Sound of Music or even Jesus Christ Superstar. On Palm Sunday, Fox will air The Passion, a retelling of Jesus’ last days before his crucifixion using contemporary music and set in modern times.
The Passion is based on a format originally created in the Netherlands by Jacco Doornbos. The Dutch version of The Passion has been produced annually since 2011 and has aired on television for the last five years, but this version will air live from New Orleans.

In select markets, you’ll be able to stream the event live FOX.com or FOX NOW mobile apps. You’ll even be able to check out exclusive pre-show footage starting a half hour before it airs. You’ll have to enter your TV provider account information, so have that handy (or borrow a friend’s).
