Paris Jackson, the 18-year-old daughter to the late Michael Jackson, seriously rocked her prom. But like, what would you expect? She’s the product of the king of pop. Of course she did.
A few days prior the big dance, she debuted a candy-colored hair color on Instagram:

I wish I could rock that, but I would look like a complete idiot. Luckily there are people in the world who can pull this off, and for that, I commend them. But it wasn’t until the next day that the reason for her new hair color was announced — the sweet dye job was due in part to her prom date, who wore a similarly colored blue gown:

Obviously the photo is gorgeous, but the caption — “only true friends dye their hair to match their gal’s prom gown.” — is the real winner here. Have truer words ever been spoken? Never.
