Gigi Hadid proved last night that she’s just like us: awkward AF. The gorgeous supermodel hosted the American Music Awards last night alongside Jay Pharoah and while she gave her best effort to be funny and entertaining, she kind of failed miserably.
Hadid started the night out talking to some girl named Rachel and delivering one of her first jokes of the night: “Don’t worry guys, tonight we do not have to deal with the electoral college.” It failed miserably, but she continued on with the awkward political jokes. Her most cringe-worthy? A Melania Trump impersonation that made me question if the audience had a pulse.

And I’m feeling that uncomfortable awkwardness all over again. Naturally, Twitter wasted no time going in on the model. It got nasty real quick.
