Every week, we get to learn a little bit more about Adam, Jane’s first love. And I have to say, he is starting to win all of our hearts. More each episode. Last week’s episode was filled with so many silly scenes that were fun and light-hearted. Which is typically what Jane The Virgin is all about.
Let me refresh your memories, in the previous episode we see Jane and Adam sneaking around because Jane is not ready to introduce him to her son, Mateo. She has a plan. An eight-week plan, to be exact. When Adam meets Jane, she wants it to be perfect because when she met one of her mother’s boyfriends, he was in their kitchen, holding a knife. Kind of frightening when you are a little girl. Needless to say, Jane does not want Adam in their kitchen, holding a knife when Mateo gets home.
But, when Mateo realized he forgot something he went back inside the house to get it and there were Jane and Adam on top of each other, locking lips, on the couch. Mateo acted how one would have and punched Adam in the face. LOL. That was Adam and Mateo’s perfect meeting. I think they nailed it.
Mateo goes back and forth when it comes to liking the man that stole his mother’s heart. When he realizes that his mother is happy, he takes Adam to talk on the porch swing. The feels! Plus, Adam designed the perfect book cover for Jane’s novel. He’s a keeper.
