Taylor Swift may not be that lucky in love, but the hopeless romantic gave one lucky couple a sweet surprise on their wedding day.
Over the weekend, newlyweds Edward and Margaret McNoble got the surprise of a lifetime when the singer sent a bottle of champagne to the couple at their wedding reception in East Meadow, New York.
As if the $140 bottle of Dom Perignon wasn’t a big enough surprise, Swift also attached a personalized sweet note to the couple that read, “Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy! Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor.”

The couple told Us Weekly, that when they got to their reception at The Carltun at Eisenhower Park that they were told: “When we got to the wedding venue, there [is] a special gift upstairs for you from a very special person.”
Somehow the 28-year-old learned that the couple chose her song “Love Story” for their first dance and exited their reception to the singer’s song “Welcome To New York.”
The bride, called Tay-Tay’s gift “awesome” during her chat with Us Weekly saying, “It was such a great day. With all the moving parts, this was a great surprise! To get a bottle of Dom is a very nice gift, and then to see it’s from Taylor Swift is an even better gift!”
This isn’t the first time Swift has surprised fans and friends on their special day. In fact, the singer has quite a history when it comes to weddings.

She also sent high school sweethearts Alexas Gonzales and Brittany Lewis a special message when they got hitched in January, telling them: ‘Have the most magical wedding day and hopefully I can meet you both soon! Love, Taylor.’
And last September, Swift was the maid of honor at her BFF Abigail Anderson’s wedding in Martha’s Vineyard. Taylor clearly loves weddings, maybe she’ll be planning one of her own soon with Joe Alwyn.
