Meghan Markle Breaks Royal Tradition By Doing This!

Meghan Markle, who will wed Prince Harry and officially join the Royal Family on May 18th is bucking royal tradition by eliminating one key element during her ceremony.

Meghan is not having a maid of honor.

“She has a very close-knit circle of friends and she didn’t want to choose one over another,” a palace spokesman said on Friday, as reported by People Magazine.

“All have been actively involved in helping her prepare for the day and will be there in the days beforehand.

“She’s very happy to have their support,” the statement concluded.

Meghan will also not have a traditional American-style bridal party.

According to People, Jessica Mulroney, who is among Meghan’s closest friends from Toronto, is part of that circle.

Jessica is married to the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

Also reportedly included in the bridal prep is Lindsay Roth. She and Meghan met when the two were students at Northwestern University.

“We’re the kind of friends who can be 3,000 miles away and still be talking about or thinking the same thing, and even texting each other the same thing at the same time miles away,” said Lindsay to People Magazine.

The Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will take place at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 18.
