This New Dog Twitter Is Calling Out Racist Trolls

Twitter is either the worst and most destructive social media, letting trolls run wild, or it’s a hilarious meme making machine. It seems like there is no in between for the micro-blogging platform. A new account called Racism Watch Dog has brought hope and light.

The account simply quote tweets racist tweets, again trolls, racists, sexists and Nazis are allowed to run rampant on Twitter, with a bunch of woofs. “We trained our dog to sniff out racism and bark when he finds it,” the accounts bio reads. “Now that’s a good boy.” The account was started in November 2017 but just recently went viral.

Its first viral tweet was calling out racism on May 15 for someone who tweeted that Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” music video is “race-baiting.”

It most recently went super viral (is that a thing?) when it quote tweeted Katie Hopkins racist royal wedding tweet. During Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding, Hopkins, an English media personality, tweeted side by side photos of Meghan and Duchess Kate at their weddings with, “No competition. You can’t buy class.”

Her tweet is obviously racist. Her racism is not hidden and is on display often on her Twitter. She’s even called refugees “feral humans” and has doubled down on her statement.

Her mentions have been filled with people calling her out for her racism, but one of the best responses was from Racism Watch Dog.

No one is safe from Racism Watch Dog. Its pinned tweet is them vehemently calling out Ben Shapiro’s mico-aggressive racist tweet. “If you wear your pants below your butt, don’t bend the brim of your cap, and have an EBT card, 0% chance you will ever be a success in life,” is what Shapiro posted.

Racism Watch Dog is a really good boy.
