The 72nd Tony Awards did not disappoint. Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban had excellent chemistry and dazzled the audience with an opening dedicated to all the “losers.” But it wouldn’t be the Tony’s if we didn’t announce the winners. The Band’s Visit, Angels in America, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two cleaned up, meanwhile pop-favorites, Frozen and Mean Girls left entirely empty-handed.
