On August 26th, 1920, The United States Congress passed the 19th amendment which granted women equal voting rights. Since then, women have come a long way. There are women in Congress, in the Senate, running businesses, owning property, etc. The women who fought in The Women’s Rights Movement are strong, brave and we couldn’t be where we are today without them.
