Fan Bingbing is a famous actress who is known for her roles in Iron Man 3 and X-Men: Days of Future Past. She has an extremely successful career in Asia. She’s starred in tons of TV shows. Bingbing worried fans when she seemingly disappeared from Hollywood and social media. For three months the actress was radio silent and never seen. Her disappearance didn’t go unnoticed. Bingbing has roughly 62 million followers on Weibo, China’s Twitter, so it’s not like she’s a nobody.

She broke her silence in early October when she was fined for tax evasion.
CNN reports that Bingbing is ordered to pay nearly $130 million for her illegal ways. She would use false dual contracts with the name “yin-yang” to conceal how much she was actually making and skimp out on paying full taxes. Her disappearance was caused to the investigation into her taxes.

“As a public figure, I should have abided by laws and regulations, and been a role model in the industry and society,” Bingbing wrote in a statement. “I shouldn’t have lost self-restraint or become lax in managing (my companies), which led to the violation of laws, in the name of economic interests.”

In May 2015 Bingbing announced on Weibo that she was dating fellow actor Li Chen. He took a break from acting while trying to become a professional race car driver. Eventually, he made his way back to the silver screen. He broke into stardom with his role in the show Keep Running. Chen and Bingbing both starred in The Empress of China in 2014 and then Sky Hunter in 2017.
The couple got engaged in September 2017 at Bingbing’s birthday party.
