This weekend Kanye West spent most of his time on Twitter. He decided to reignite his feud with Drake and claimed that he tried to “hurt” his family. He also dragged Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy and “hubby”, for doing a song with Drake and letting the rapper sneak diss Kanye on “Sicko Mode.”
Drake called trying to threatened me

The lyrics that Kanye was upset about were, “Jesus Christ, checks over stripes / that’s what I like, that’s what we like.”
Drake raps that he and Travis prefer Nike (checks) over Adidas (the three stripes) and Drake is notoriously team Adidas.
A fan pointed out that after Kanye tweeted about the checks over stripes lyric, Travis posted a selfie of him wearing a sweatshirt with a Nike sock on it.

Kylie had an issue with this petty tweet. “He’s not being petty. This is a sweatshirt design (the sock is apart of the design). Everyone is good, moved on, living life. For anyone who wasn’t aware – Travis has had a deal with Nike and still does. Point is…it’s all been talked out. it’s only positive energy.”

Then Kylie shared a screenshot of a Wikipedia page of the design. The sweatshirt is part of Cactus Plant Flea Market and shows a stitched Nike sock over top of a sweatshirt.

Drake also his own deal with Nike, so it’s not shocking that he rapped about he and Travis preferring Nike over Adidas. You could even go as far to say that this lyric isn’t even about Kanye!
But even if it is, he and Travis are all good. A few days after Kanye’s Twitter spree, he tweeted that he and Travis talked. “Met with Trav at my crib this morning. We expressed ourselves. It’s all love,” Kanye tweeted.
