Cardi B is angry and she’s not afraid to show it. The rapper took to Instagram to call out someone who is using her name to scam people out of money.
Someone Cardi knows sent her screenshots of an email they received asking him to donate money for autism research.
“Thanks @iamdeadeye59 for putting me on! THIS SHIT IS FAKE! FAKE DONATION SHIT!,” Cardi wrote on Instagram. “Ya wild disgusting taking advantage of real kind people who wanna make a change but ya scamming! If it don’t come from my mouth don’t believe it!😤😤😤😤😤😤”
The email is full of misspellings and grammatical errors. Also, the email is from cardibc5@gmail.com, which seems very fake.
The scam email starts out, “Thanks you for the love and support you showered on me,its been a wonderful year having fans like solidly behind me,this is my way of saying thank you to the people that have brought me this far.”

The email then goes on to explain that Cardi and her team are setting up an initiative “to give support to individuals with autism and their families while promoting student leadership and involvement in the local community.”
The scam goes on to say that they’re trying to raise $30 million and encouraging the person to donate to the cause.
Cardi is clearly upset over someone trying to use her name to scam her fans out of money. The comments on her post totally support the rapper’s feelings.
