While the premiere of Miracle Workers isn’t airing on television until 10:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, February 12, the pilot for the new show has already been uploaded to YouTube so fans can dive into the new comedy series as soon as they want.
Steve Buscemi stars as God — a role originally occupied by Owen Wilson, who eventually dropped out — while Daniel Radcliffe (of Harry Potter fame) stars as Craig, a “low-level angel” responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers.
In order to “prevent Earth’s destruction”, Craig and fellow angel Eliza (portrayed by Geraldine Viswanathan) must help two humans, Laura and Sam, fall in love.
Executive-produced by Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels, Miracle Workers has the pedigree to hopefully deliver a solid half-hour comedy.
