Bachelor in Paradise couple Jade and Tanner Tolbert announced that they’re expecting their second child. The couple just revealed the gender of their second kid and they’re having a boy.
The married couple had a gender reveal party to find out what they were having. Tanner wanted to have a boy, their first child is a girl, and he wore blue to the reveal party that’s how badly he wants a boy.
“Tanner’s clearly team boy, so I felt I should represent team girl!!” Jade wrote on Instagram. “And…Emmy, well, she’s still not sure about any of it! 😆 Let’s hear your guesses, boy or girl!?”

Tanner got his wish and the couple is having a boy! The couple’s friends and family sprayed them with blue silly string announcing the baby’s gender.

The couple revealed they were pregnant in January. They broke the news on Instagram and also revealed the month the baby is due.
“Baby #2 is adding to our crew!!” Jade announced on Instagram. “We are overjoyed our bundle of love will be joining us in August! We’ve been dreaming of you for a while now, and you are already loved beyond imaginable, sweet baby.”
Their daughter, Emmy, was born in August 2017. Jade and Tanner met in season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise in June 2015. They tied the knot in January 2016 in a televised ceremony.
Their pregnancy announcement came after they revealed to fans that they suffered a miscarriage early in their relationship. While on Bachelor in Paradise, the couple accidentally got pregnant and then later Jade had a miscarriage.
“Well, you always hear those stories about those couples that get pregnant the very first time they have sex. I never thought that would be me, but it was,” Tanner revealed in their video about the misscarriage. “And add on top of that the fact that it happened on a TV show, in a fantasy suite made things a little complicated. But this is the story of what happened to Jade and I.”
Now the couple is married, happy, healthy and has their second child on the way.
