Khloe Kardashian fans know that the second-youngest Kardashian has an affinity for sharing corny messages, poems and phrases on her Instagram story. Ever since she split from Tristan Thompson and the cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods, Khloe’s Instagram stories have been extra.
Over the weekend Khloe shared a photo encouraging people to “love thy neighbor” despite their differences. Khloe wrote, “Love is the only cure” above the saying.
The post reads, “Love thy neighbor. Thy homeless neighbor. Thy Muslim neighbor. Thy black neighbor. Thy gay neighbor. Thy white neighbor. Thy Jewish neighbor. Thy Christian neighbor. Thy atheist neighbor. Thy racist neighbor. Thy addicted neighbor.”
Khloe Kardashian is facing backlash for posting a "Love Thy Neighbor" shirt that includes "Thy Racist Neighbor" on her Instagram story:

People focused on the love thy racist neighbor portion of the quote because Khloe has a black child and no one has to love or be understanding of racists. People took to Twitter to drag Khloe’s post and her ignorance.

The overwhelming response to Khloe’s post was negative. Khloe’s mentality to love someone their flaws and all is frankly not acceptable when their “flaws” are discriminating against someone based on their skin tone.
A few fans defended Khloe. One fan asked, “Do people not believe in loving your enemies anymore?” And another one wrote, “Find the reason they’re racist in the first place and change their mind about it.”
Do people not belive in loving your enemies anymore? Loving someone does not mean you support what they say or what they are standing for. If you are showing love to wrongdoers this is the only way they can see the truth and light. Hate does not drive out hate, Love does. https://t.co/jY5Pt2BLBI

Why not? You just going to reinforce their views of you by acting like a dick in return? Find the reason they’re racist in the first place and change their mind about it https://t.co/85VEyrRRWq

These points are fair, but also putting the labor of educating racists on black people is not acceptable. What do you think about Khloe’s controversial post?
