21-year-old Hattie Wilcox from Yorkshire, England was mistaken for being an air hostess by a man she matched with on Tinder.
The musical graduate shared her conversation online and has been liked more than 41,000 times. The messages reveal how the man had mistaken Hattie’s outfit in one of her pictures for a flight attendant’s uniform after he’d had about “seven pints.”
In a now-deleted screenshot Hattie posted to Twitter, the conversation between her and the man involved talking about breakfast and joking about Bali where the man said she could get a decent discount because of what she did, and he asked “When we jetting off?” and “You going to work the shifts we go & come back?” implying he thought she was a flight attendant because she was wearing a scarf in one of her photos.
Hattie then asked him about all the “work jokes” and he realized he’d been mistaken and admitted he thought she was an air hostess.

Some people hoped the man in question had seen the tweet, which at that point had gotten up to 13,000 likes while others said they needed updates and encouraged Hattie to go on a date with the boy, wearing the scarf.
