We’ve all come to admire the six-time Olympic medalist after her dynamic leadership as the team captain of both the “Fierce Five” and the “Final Five” of the US 2012 and 2016 Olympic gymnastics team, and for her bold fearlessness in calling out her former doctor, Larry Nasser, for sexual harassment of herself and other gymnasts. Recently, Aly has partnered with York Athletics in their “Worth the Fight” campaign, encouraging people to fight for their best life. Last April, she has become involved in lobbying for a California bill that would extend the statute of limitations for reporting sexual abuse. Aly has also been front and center in a movement of women rallying to bring justice to other doctors accused of sexual misconduct. By launching her new swimsuit collection in collaboration with Aerie, Aly supports the leading non-profit organization for empowering sexual assault survivors, Darkness to Light, while at the same time promoting a message of feminine body positivity; Aly has shared her former insecurity about her muscles and how modeling has allowed her to embrace her body. At 25 years old, Aly Raisman has thoroughly lived up to her “Fierce” reputation and continues to be a symbol of strength to girls and female athletes.
One would be reasonable to assume a schedule like Aly’s probably wouldn’t allow much downtime for personal relationships… but one would be wrong! Between winning silver in London and then again in Rio Janeiro, testifying against Nassar, her modeling career and her advocacy work, Aly Raisman managed to balance a dating life too– truly an inspiration. Aly’s dating history, that we know of, consists of a pro ice hockey player and a football player; this Olympian may have a thing for fellow star athletes.
Ever since the notorious ending of her relationship with Colton Underwood, former NFL tight end and star of the 23rd Bachelor in 2017, Aly has kept fans guessing about who she’s been dating. Last year, the new man in Aly Raisman’s life was finally revealed: Tim Schaller, a forward for the NHL.

Tim Schaller, 28, is originally from Merrimac, New Hampshire. Currently playing for the Vancouver Cannucks, he had signed a one-year contract with the Bruins in 2016 and has also spent time with the Buffalo Sabres.
Rumors initially sparked when Aly Raisman and Tim Schaller were spotted dining together at the Empire Asian Restaurant and Lounge in December. The pair consistently liked each others’ social media posts, and Ally showed up to a few games at TD Garden (Tim was a Bruins forward at the time). Tim and Aly have yet to make it official, but their relationship was confirmed when Aly’s mother Lynn posted a photo on Twitter of the two of them along with Aly’s brother and father at an ESPY pre-party.

The former Raiders tight-end famously asked Aly out via live video that went viral. After a brief whirlwind romance which made them a hot commodity item, Aly has since opened up about some issues in their relationship in her 2017 book, Fierce: How Competing for Myself Changed Everything, intimating that a certain former NFL player treated her disrespectfully. To his credit, Colton had only positive words to say about his ex for her bravery in going public about the assault she experienced. He also called her his “first love” and “worst heartbreak.” The exact cause for their break up, a year before Colton went on The Bachelor, was never clear. Two years after her split with Colton, Aly seems to be very much over it. During Colton’s season of The Bachelor she revealed that she didn’t watch her ex’s season, or any The Bachelor since the breakup.
