Millie Bobby Brown recently came out with a makeup line called Florence by Mills on August 26th. The line is named after her grandmother Florence, and if you’re wondering about the Mills part, that’s what the star’s friends and family call her.

The young actress expressed her desires for the makeup line in saying she wants it to represent individuality, bravery, and truthfulness, and that there was no one better to emulate those qualities than her grandmother.
Florence by Mills is PETA-certified, vegan and cruelty-free, which shows just how in tune the star is to today’s market. When interviewed about her decision to enter the beauty world at such a young age, the Stranger Things star expressed:
“I’ve been in a makeup chair since I was 10, 11 years old, and I have really been introduced to all types of products. I’ve had special effects on my face, blood, all different types of foundation…I wanted to come into the space because there was a gap in the market for young people.”

The 15-year-old admitted to feeling the pressure of being a female in this day and age.
“For so long it’s been that women are supposed to wear makeup, but I think there isn’t really a right way to use it. As long as you’re being yourself, then why can’t you wear makeup? It’s not about other people; it’s about making yourself feel good.”
The teen actress has no fears of growing up during an interview with Refinery 29, where she expressed happiness at the sight of a blemish.
“I do get the odd pimple. I’ll probably get a pimple tomorrow. I actually love it though; I don’t know why. I think I just appreciate the growing — like I’m growing.”
