Here Is The Guinness World Record Longest Cruise

Cruises are one of the most popular ways to enjoy time off from work and to enjoy a vacation. Now Viking wants to become a Guinness World Record Cruise line by having the longest ship ride in history, 245 days. The Viking Sun Cruise will host 930 passengers and in eight months after it returns to London they hope to have set the record for, “longest continuous passenger cruise.” according to Forbes.

On August 31, 2019, the cruise line left Greenwich terminal and will set out to visit 51 countries within six continents and 111 port visits and overnight stops in 23 cities. Viking Sun Cruise is a long trip so they broke it up into two segments, 127 and 119 days. The Viking Sun Cruise will traverse Scandinavia, the Caribbean and destinations throughout South America before calling on the remote tropical islands of the South Pacific. Viking Sun will then continue its journey along the coast of Australia and through Asia before returning to the Mediterranean and Europe.

The Ultimate world cruise starts at $92,990 per person and includes outside stateroom accommodations, all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, 24-room service, free Wi-Fi, business class airfare, complimentary shore excursions at each port of call and more.
