One Month Challenge: No Meat, No Dairy, No Problem, Week Two

On Tuesday my manager brought in pints of Ben & Jerry’s, just for fun. Really? Like, REALLY? Just rub it in a bit more that I, the biggest ice cream lover of all time, can’t dig in to free Ben & Jerry’s (mint chocolate chip, no less). But I was actually able to stay focused and keep my eye on the prize.

On top of it all, I'm living with my best friend from school.

Channeling My Inner Susie Homemaker

Some women have been blessed with the cooking, cleaning, and child-rearing skills any '50s housewife would be jealous of. You know the type - they go to their friends' houses bearing baked goods, they know how to get that tricky stain out of delicate material, they're just all-around nurturers.

I’ve Got a Fever, and the Only Prescription is More Athletes

I must admit, I did get swept up in this year’s World Cup. What’s so wrong about cheering for the U.S. as if I actually understand what’s going on? So what if I hesitated each time before saying “score!” because I wasn’t sure if it was the correct terminology in soccer.
