With so many summer colors and patterns to choose from this year, it's hard to know what to pair them with. While you could pair the bright yellows, pretty pastels or the super popular turquoise with denim, khaki or another solid neutral, the bold black and white prints available this season are a more interesting way to go.
Tomorrow is Memorial Day and you know what that means: beer, hot dogs, and your dad making inappropriate weiner jokes by the grill. But you know what else it means? Summer. is. here. and it's time to bust out those summer whites that make you look super chic and extra tan.
There's one thing that hats and sunglasses have in common that make them super sexy. What is it? The fact they protect you from the sun! Essentials for summer, these are not only functional, but they also add pizazz to your look. Functional and stylish! What's not to love?
There are some things that you can't get away with past college, but contrary to what some may believe, tie dye is not one of those things. It's shown up on nearly every runway and celebrity this season, and unlike those tie dye tees you used to make at summer camp, it's taken on a whole new level of fun sophistication.
Chances are you're seeing the light at the end of the cold month tunnel and feeling ready to bare those legs again. While dresses and skirts are the obvious way to show some leg, their counterparts, rompers and shorts, are another equally adorable option. A much more practical option, I might add, as they won't blow up when a lovely spring breeze blows through.
There really is a pattern and a print for everyone. The only problem is, with so many options this season, how do you choose? Don't! Stock up on a wide variety of patterns and prints for a bright and fun spring/summer wardrobe.
After a long, cold, gray winter, I think it's safe to say that everyone is looking forward to spring. And by spring, I mean SPRING BREAK, baby. And while we all need a little warm breeze in our lives, what I'm looking forward to most is ditching the chunky sweaters and embracing spring clothes!
Spring is right around the corner!! Okay that is a total lie BUT Spring Break is right around the corner, giving us all the perfect excuse to don a great dress. And this season the bolder, the better.
The countdown to spring continues. Only three (fingers crossed) more weeks to go! As my school's spring break was last week, I am currently enviously admiring the tans of my classmates lucky enough to flee warmer weather. With most American schools still weeks away from break, now is the time to start thinking about what to wear.
If Punxsutawney Phil was correct this year, we now only have 3 more weeks of winter, which means we can soon wash away those winter blues and bust out those spring styles. This year, Pantone's top color will be turquoise, which is not only a fun, bright color that can be mixed with everything from neutrals to browns to other brights, but it looks great on nearly everyone.
Until the sun is shining and the temperature rises enough to expose the tops of my feet, I'm left admiring the plethora of flats retailers have to offer this year. With most shops carrying inexpensive options, it's easy to stock up on styles that fit with (and add some style to) all your favorite outfits. Flats are one of those items that can be worn to subtly incorporate a season's hottest trends.
Though it's hard to think about it now, florals are huge for Spring. Shoes, jackets, bags, you name it- with the exception of a cute boy toting a bouquet at my front door, florals are popping up just about everywhere. That being said, it's hard to look at a floral pattern and wonder if you will look more like your grandma chillin' in Boca than the uber fashionista you want to portray.
The '90s have made a comeback. No, MC Hammer won't be kicking off an international tour any time soon, but chambray is sweeping the globe.
