"Ratchetry," can be defined as, "Serious f*ckery, tomfoolery, or other such shenanigans."
One of the greatest blogs on the Internet has to be Post Secret. Every Sunday, Frank Warren, the founder and creator of Post Secret updates his website with secrets sent in from people all over the world. These secrets range from absolutely hysterical to absolutely devastating.
In so many ways, we really had it good as kids. We had awesome cartoons, excellent (read: awful) fashion, and most of all, really great candy. Am I right? There are so many candies that used to be all over the place that I never see anymore. Of course, there are always the classic candy bars that stick around forever. The weirder stuff might not last as long, but it sure does bring back memories.
Ok, so it hasn't been that rough of a winter in NYC. In fact, there's not even any snow on the ground currently. But don't let any of the aforementioned fool you. That hasn't stopped me from dreaming of a tropical vacation.Warm sun, sandy beach, comfy lounge chair and a cold drink? Um...yes, please, sign me up!
Online shopping has become almost a hobby as it is almost too convenient to scroll through an entire store, easily click the size you want for a cute shirt and have it shipped in a few days. Yet in a world where there's an unlimited amount of online stores to shop at, how do you know which ones to skip over and which ones are worth looking at?
It's almost the end of the school year and for those unfortunate seniors out there, it may also be the end of college. (Wah Wah) The second most asked question (right after "what are you doing to do after you graduate?"), will be "what do you want for your graduation gift?" While my wise brother always claims that cash is king, the older generation often wants to give you something more tangible as a gift.
So there's a lot of things that come to my mind when I think about graduation. There's the week of senior festivities that takes place before, and the long, relaxing summer that takes place after. There's caps and gowns and diplomas and awards and speeches. Lots of speeches.
There are three things I need for a good party night: a few shots of cheap vodka, a cute outfit and the perfect party companions. And I've done a good job rounding up the three, if I do say so myself. Like most college girls, I've perfected the art of the party and have plenty of Facebook photos to prove it.
This season is all about brights, but the color that stands out above all the others this spring is orange. In every shade from pastel orange to coral-orange to fiery red-orange, the color is everywhere and on everything -- from sweaters and dresses to sandals, bags, jewelry and more!
So if you're our fan of CollegeCandy on Facebook, you've most likely already seen the 25 dudes Men's Fitness' named most fit. If you haven't, here you go. (Hell, even if you already looked through that photo album 10 times, it's worth giving it another once over....You know I'm right.)
Even the guys you crush on get guy crushes. It’s just a different kind of crushing. We don’t necessarily want to be with them, we mostly want to be them. Just a preference. A lot of us can admit when a guy’s hot. We can feel the animal magnetism. We can be charmed by his charisma or attracted by his genius. Same as you.
I don't know about you, but on a scale of early morning Church in panty hose to eternal bliss, Easter treats rank pretty freakin' close to the top (and almost make putting on panty hose worth it).
Earth Day. The only holiday that somehow doesn't have a college drinking game associated with it. So, since you're sober, why not take a moment to save the planet. Or at least support companies that are making their own attempts to go green.
