Grrrrrrrrrrl, it's going to be sooooooo good. Goosebumps.
Lorde's awesome twist on the jaded classic is not only a great fit for the Jennifer Lawrence blockbuster, it's an appropriate addition to her anti-capitalism repertoire.
The trailer makes the new movie look pretty intense. As you know if you read the books, Katniss and Peeta have to go on a tour of the districts after winning the Hunger Games as a pair.
And that is why I love Jennifer Lawrence and will not be sad to see her in a bazillion movies.
She’s one of the most famous and highest paid people in the world, and she’s an ungrateful, immature, clueless child who has allowed herself to be put in a position where she has, for better or worse, influence over others. The public. The Twihards. The next generation.
There are some new pics from Catching Fire and I got to say, Jennifer Lawrence is some serious fitness inspiration. That girl looks like she really was a coal miner with that upper body. It's great when "getting in shape for a role" doesn't mean shrinking down to an unhealthy weight (re: Black Swan, Les Miserables). More power to you, lady. Check out more pics of J-Law in action on the Catching Fire set.
For the past two weeks, Alex and I have been dealing with the trials and tribulations of our astrological signs.
Recently, I came across this YouTube channel, "Honest Trailers." I don't know how I haven't seen it before but it's amazing!
Books about teenagers fighting to the death in a massive arena might not be the most obvious place to look for lessons on love, but look a little harder and you'll see loads of different types of love all through the series - from the most obvious, the love triangle between Katniss, adorable Peeta and intense Gale, to Katniss' unconditional love for her sister Prim.
I happen to be on team Gale when it comes to The Hunger Games. I know Peeta is sweet, adorable, caring, and a great guy all-around, but come on, we all know she truly loves Gale.
Like so many of you, I'm a fan of the Hunger Games. I devoured all the books over a particularly lazy summer weekend, I've seen the movie -- and critiqued about it extensively with my friends. And ya know what? The books and the movie both left out a pretty significant character.
If you're like us, you're counting down the days, hours and minutes until the premiere of The Hunger Games this Friday. Some of you may be re-reading the books, others might be Googling your hearts out for the latest promo photos...we, however, have decided to create the ultimate Hunger Games-themed pin board on Pinterest.
