Nothing Is Sacred, ‘Green Juice’ Gummy Bears Exist

Well, just in case you couldn’t escape your one Instagram-obsessed, yoga-loving friend who is “absolutely obsessed with this fab, new detox,” by checking the candy aisle and hiding in a pile of chocolate and gummies, sweets have officially been infiltrated.

Pressed Juicery has announced its latest innovation: ‘green juice’ gummy bears.

The healthy candy hybrids combine the detoxing properties of the juice brand’s famed drinks with the sweetness of the classic gummy bear. In partnership with Sugarfina, the two companies took what began as an April Fool’s Day prank to a whole new level with this less-intense cleansing method.

After experiencing disappointment from a joke about green gummies, Sugarfina’s co-founders Rosie O’Neill and Josh Resnick reached out to Pressed, and the new candy was concocted.

The green gummy bears are made of spinach, lemon, apple and ginger, remaining sugar-free and gluten-free (uh, are they also taste-free? It’s candy, people!) and come in various sizes and prices, ranging from $3 to $14.

And yes, if you’re one of those seven-day meal-prep types, they even have a plan for you.

How do they taste, though? The (allegedly) highly-anticipated treats will hit the market soon and we can’t wait to read the reviews.

For now, we’ll just be sticking to the candy aisle for Airheads, Reese’s Cups and Hershey’s Kisses.
