The Perfect Playlist For Your Snowed In Sunday Afternoon

Winter is here. Winter is definitely here. If you’re hanging out in the midwest or the east coast, you are well aware that the season of snow, ice, and absolutely freezing temperatures is upon us, and it is not forgiving. The high for today is somewhere around -11 degrees and I can barely see outside my window because the snow is blowing every which way. This crazy winter storm or Nor’easter as I’ve recently learned it’s called is totally pummeling us all with the winter blues.

Since there is no way in hell any of us are going outside for fear of our faces falling off, we’re all stuck inside for the rest of the weekend. While this could be a death sentence to all you active and ADD people, if you’re like me (lazy and a homebody), a snowed-in Sunday afternoon is an absolute dream come true! Finally–a legit excuse to stay inside! But here’s the next issue: what the heck are you going to do all day?

Once all the Buzzfeed articles have been read and the Netflix have been watched and the phone calls to parents have been made (“Yes mom, I’m fine.”) , there is really nothing else to do but lay back and listen to some music–and hi, it’s perfect snuggle weather. Snuggle with your man or your girl or your roommate or your dog! Snuggle all day and listen to music! Yes! From Justin Timberlake to Beyonce to Fleet Foxes, this playlist will be sure to help you kick those winter blues and enjoy the cold for a minute or two.
