10 Things I Forgot About Zoog Disney

To all my millennials out there, remember Zoog Disney? I like to call it the Disney Channel’s Golden Age, where programming like Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens, and That’s So Raven were on the air. And let’s not forget the many Disney Channel Original Movies like Halloweentown and Motocrossed that served up just the right amount of cheese.
It was pretty much the best thing ever and made the Disney Channel superior to Nickelodeon in the early 2000s. There are so many good things to remember about that time in the early-aughts, so let’s take a trip and reminisce!

1. That Ricky Ulman as Phil of the Future was actually the cutest. Forget Ethan Sanders.

2. That Kate from Lizzie McGuire was actually the best mean girl at throwing shade.

3. That Aly and AJ Michalka used to pop up EVERYWHERE. I liked the one with the mole better.

4. That “nunya biznezz” was the greatest comeback ever.

5. That Fi was the best investigator on So Weird. Eff the Annie year.

6. That Disney had a legit medical drama. In a Heartbeat was actually based on true story, too!

7. That The Proud Family might have been a little bit racist. Those Gross Sisters were blue for a reason.

8. That Disney used to play concerts…and Leann Rimes used to be famous for her singing.

9. That Alley Cats Strike is low-key one of the greatest sports movies ever made.

10. That the Lawbros were actually the holy trifecta of hotness. Where are you Matt?
