Selena Gomez Cries Real Tears for Bieber in New Video

Selena Gomez (you know, the Disney tween sensation who’s not Demi Lovato or Miley Cyrus), is mostly famous for her on again/off again relationship with baby Bieber. In her new video, “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” girlfriend laments her failed relationship with America’s favorite wannabe bad boy. The video starts with a voicemail that many of us have left before, where she sounds desperate, upset, and probably drunk. It’s the kind of voicemail you leave at 2AM for your not boyfriend, only to apologize for it in the morning, when the reality is that you’re the one who’s owed an apology. It’s the kind of Taylor Swift/Rihanna spoken word sadness that let’s you know that this song is getting ready to go there. Girlfriend, any college girl has been there. When she says, “Feeling so confident, and feeling so great about myself … but then you make me feel crazy, you make me feel like it’s my fault,” it gets way too real.
“Crazy” is the number one insult of d-bags everywhere, whether it’s the drag racing, tatted up Bieber or your boat shoes wearing ex. The easiest way for a “confident” girl to question herself immediately is by calling her crazy. It’s a scientific fact. I can just see Biebs now in his low hanging harem pants, telling Selena that she’s acting so crazy, because that picture of him with two Victoria’s Secret models was just as friends, obviously. You can basically hear his bologna excuses pouring out of his mouth in her new single. It might not be the most beautiful musical creation of our generation, and she might look like a tiny Bratz doll, but Selena gets heartbreak. The heart wants what it wants, even if what it wants is an awful human.
