Looks like we will finally get to see Martin Lawrence and Will Smith on the big screen again. It’s been 12 years since the last Bad Boys movie was released, and now Sony confirms that Bad Boys 3 will be released in February 2017 and Bad Boys 4 will be released in July 2019. Bad Boys is returning to the theaters, but director Michael Bay will not be returning as a director. Instead, writer/director Joe Carnahan who’s responsible for films such as The Grey and Smoking Aces will be joining the team of writers and directors for the film. The last Bad Boys film was released in 2003 and it made over $273 million worldwide. It is great to see these two talented actors and comedians on the big screen together again. Do you think Gabrielle Union will return after her appearance in Bad Boys 2? This new Bad Boys film was long overdue.
