Guessing Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s little boy’s name is just as fun as guessing the numbers to the million-dollar jackpot. Our chances of guessing the name correctly, just like guessing the winning numbers, are slim-to-none. But hey, we’re all in on it.
After shooting down rumors that Baby No. 2’s name will include some sort of direction in it like their 2-year-old daughter, North West, it seems the Keeping up with the Kardashian star and her hubby of one year had a change of heart because the second-time parents are reportedly naming their baby boy Easton.
According to the Daily Mail, which was the first to report the news, a family source slipped and exclusively told them that Easton’s “nursery and wardrobe can begin to be made, monograms and all” at this point.
Also from the Daily Mail, “Kourtney [Kardashian] told a few girls at a Hidden Hills pool party last weekend that Kanye’s favorite name by far is Easton, a name Kim wasn’t hot on at first because Kanye liked simply ‘East.’ But, Kim came up with Easton, and for them, history was made. No doubt monogrammed baby bibs are being hand sewn as we speak….Mason is already calling his auntie’s belly ‘Easton.’”
BUT…in true Kardashian form, they’re denying these reports. Although this “family insider” is so sure the name Easton is spot on, E! Online is reporting the total opposite. “Sure enough, a source assures us that the proud parents have not chosen a name yet—and it definitely will not be Easton,” according to the entertainment website.
So, after all of this, the only thing we can hang on to is that Nori’s little brother’s name is definitely not going to be South.
During a podcast of NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!, Kardashian-West said, “I don’t like South West, though, because North will always be better and she has a better direction. So I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think we’ll go with another direction. Everyone keeps on saying South, and I think it’s so stupid. It’s the stupidest thing ever.”
If we’ve learned anything about the Kardashian’s, especially these last few months, it’s that only time will tell, and the same goes for all of this baby name talk, too. Don’t forget, when Nori was born, there was much speculation about her name also, but it was neither denied or confirmed until she was born.
So…how much longer do we have? About five months? #NoBigDeal!
