Uh-Oh! Although the new season premiere of The Wendy Williams Show is set to air on Monday, September 14th, it seems the highly opinionated TV host has landed herself in some hot water and a possible cancellation.

It’s been a few months now since Ariana Grande and Big Sean split, so it’s unclear why the hashtag #CancelWendyWilliamsShow has been trending these past couple of days on Twitter, but according to both E! Online and Enstarz, Arianators around the world have come to the pop star’s defense after the 51-year-old talk show host body-shamed the singer.

While Big Sean and Grande reportedly called it quits because of their busy schedules, Willams, who often voices her opinion during the Hot Topics segment of her show, believes otherwise.

“She’s 21. She’ll forever look 12. And I don’t mean that in a good way. It’s nice to look younger than you are, but when you look too young and then you’re short—she’s only like 4’11”. I don’t look at her as, like, a woman,” Williams said, while the crowd cheered on, seemingly agreeing.

She continued her rant by taking another dig at the “Love Me Harder” singer. According to Williams, Grande is coming after Mariah Carey‘s “crown,” but “Mariah is a woman…she [Ariana] will forever be a little girl to me; even when she hits notes and sings about love. Like what do you know about love? I guess it’s a stereotype for somebody who’s like 4’11” with big googly eyes. I mean Snooki is 4’11”, but she comes off as a woman.”

Ouch!

And now, Grande’s fans are eager to get the show pulled from the air.

One fan that goes by the name Mahila (@1994rauhl_) expressed her frustration on the social media platform, saying it goes far beyond just sticking up for the star because she is a fan. It’s about body-shaming and how no one should be victim of it:

Another Twitter user, Moonlight (@moonlightlovee) posted this, which accurately sums up Grande’s popularity versus Williams’:

There has been countless digs taken at the talk show host through the hashtag #CancelWendyWilliamsShow, but Grande has yet to comment. And understandably so! The 22-year-old singer is currently embarked on her 84-stop tour, The Honeymoon Tour, which hits arenas in North America, Europe and Asia.

So, what do you think? Should The Wendy Williams Show be pulled from the air because of this?
