Tons Of Starbucks Are Now Serving Alcohol Just In Time For Back To School

Sometimes coffee just doesn’t cut it. Starbucks knows that, because it totally gets you. That’s why they’re now serving alcohol at 70 locations (and it’s not even on the secret menu) and it’s called the “evening program.”
Your favorite place to work study kill seven hours has just added five more “alcohol” locations, making the sixth one in Denver, the ninth one in California, the fifth one in Orlando, and the second one in Miami. CNN Money says,

The company’s online menu offers a selection of wines, including Malbec, pinot noir, pinot gris and Prosecco. “Ask your barista about our current selection of curated craft beers,” reads the menu.
The drinks are served alongside dishes that are not the usual Starbucks fare. Small plates include truffle mac & cheese, chicken skewers, artichoke & goat cheese flatbread, meat balls with tomato basil sauce, bacon-wrapped dates, a cheese plate, and truffle popcorn.

I realize this is a fraction of the Starbucks around the country – this is a fraction of the Starbucks locations in New York City. But this is just the beginning. The plan is to have 2,000 of its 12,000 coffee shops in America serving alcohol in the next five years.

As if you didn’t spend enough time and money at Starbucks…
