This Artist Is Trying To Prove A Point About Phones By Using Disney Characters

There is obviously a trend with warping Disney characters into all sorts of different forms and fashions, but we think we’ve finally found one that generation Y can relate to. Behold: Your favorite Disney duos have officially found themselves checking into the 21st century with nothing but Apple iPhones. Who doesn’t have one these days, after all?
Artist and sociopolitical activist Saint Hoax has created what he likes to call “The Contemporary Fairytale” to show people how absolute absurd they are by needing their cellphones constantly on hand. And what better way to do so then by photoshopping cells into original Disney films? In an interview with A Plus, Saint Hoax said, “The ‘Contemporary Fairy Tale’ series critiques how technology is being misused. What pushed all my buttons was when I witnessed two people who seemed to be on a date, barely have four full sentences with each other.”
As depressing as that reality sounds, we think he’s got a point. Our senses are telling us that if Disney characters didn’t need their cell phones to find true love, neither do we. It might be time to re-evaluate. Check out the photos from Saint Hoax here.
