Apple September Event Live Stream: How To Watch September 9 Keynote Event

September 9, 2015 is going to be a big day for techies, stock owners, and anyone else who owns any Apple products because the technology company will be announcing lots of awesome new stuff in San Francisco. Analysts predict that Apple will unveil the next iPhone (iPhone 6S and 6+S), a new version of the Apple TV, a brand-new type of iPad (called the “iPad Pro?”), and an updated iPad mini. We also expect there to be new information about a new iOS.
So how do you watch all of this? Apple will be live streaming this live event on September 9th, 2015 at 1 PM EST on their website here, via Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology.


So what does that mean? It means that unless you’re using a Mac computer, you might need to do a little work in order to watch the full thing.

If you’re trying to watch the live stream on a non-Windows 10 PC, you’re going to need to do a little digging.

2. Install it and everything, make sure it works correctly.
3. Open the program. Click on Media (top left) > Open Network Stream.

How To Watch on Windows 10

For the first time ever, Apple will allows PC users to watch the keynote live stream without jumping through any hoops. If you’re using Windows 10, all you need to do is head to apple.com/apple-events/september-2015/ on the Edge browser. An embedded video should start playing.


How To Watch on Apple TV

If you own an Apple TV, there should be a dedicated channel to watching the keynote speech.
