This morning, during an interview on the Today Show with Matt Lauer, Caitlyn Jenner has finally given her stance on the “Call Me Caitlyn” Halloween costumes that have been stirring up a lot of controversy after it has been deemed highly offensive and transphobic.
More than 16,000 people have already signed a petition on Change.org pushing for companies to stop selling the costume because they feel it stereotypes people who are part of the trans community. But, surprisingly, Caitlyn is not offended by the costume at all.
I’m in on the joke. I don’t think it’s offensive at all. I know the community does and they’ve gotten a lot of criticism for doing it. I think it’s great…Life’s too short.

Caitlyn and Lauer also discussed how her life has been since she has transitioned and overall she’s been nothing but grateful for the positive reaction she’s been receiving.
There’s nothing better in life than to wake up in the morning, look at yourself in the mirror, and feel comfortable with yourself and who you are.
We love that Caitlyn has a sense of humor when it comes to trivial things like Halloween costumes. It’s the least of her worries, now that she’s finally happy and gets to live life that way she’s always intended (and let’s not forget looking amazing while doing it). Go Caitlyn!
