This one time, at band camp…
If you weren’t watching the Kansas State versus South Dakota football game this past Saturday, boy, did you miss out. On behalf of the Kansas State Marching Band, Kansas State officials have apologized for their so NSFW halftime routine. You may be wondering, who the f*ck cares about marching band routines?
Apparently a lot of people.
The marching band routine was allegedly based on space and relied heavily on imagery featured from the Star Trek universe. School officials reported that the image was supposed to be the U.S.S Enterprise encountering a “horrible space creature” when, in reality; it looks like a South Dakota Jayhawk giving a BJ. Kansas State students are absolutely in love with it.
However, the school’s officials are having a PR frenzy. They have repeated that the formation had no intention to be phallic. The president of Kansas State University, took to Twitter and Facebook to apologize to those offended:
I am sorry if anyone was offended by the performance at half-time. https://t.co/5589bLIJRs

In addition, you can see the formation schematic below. I’m sorry, but, while you had good intentions, did you really not see the phallic imagery in this? It’s really blatant.
