Back in May, we heard about 18-year-old Madeline Stuart who had big dreams of becoming a model despite being born with Down syndrome. It wasn’t hard to tell from her photos that she had the spunk and beauty it took. The folks at fashion brand FTL Moda noticed, and offered the teen a chance to become the second ever model with Down syndrome to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week. Of course, Stuart wasn’t going to pass this opportunity up, even if it meant a 28 hour plane ride from Brisbane, Australia.
On Sunday, Maddy’s dreams came true in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. Check out these awesome photos from the runway.
