Starbucks Barista Writes Pick-Up Line On Girl's Coffee Cup, Mom Unamused

In an attempt to flirt with one of his customers, a barista in London wrote a message on her coffee cup that many, including her mom, think went too far. Shocking *insert sarcasm.*
Starbucks cups come with the warning, “Careful, the beverage you are about to enjoy is extremely hot,” but this genius guy drew lines through the warning so all that remained was “Careful, you are extremely hot.” To be sure that she didn’t miss the message, he drew her name with the ever-so-discreet ‘secret message’ and an arrow to the cleverly crossed out words.

Yet apparently he’s not the only one to think of this. Starbucks baristas across the country are using the exact same pick-up line to land ladies (and presumably men). Stats on how often this has actually worked? Unknown.

Mom, and winner of today’s “Most Easily Offended” award, took to Facebook to express her concerns regarding the message saying, “Creepy barista writing inappropriate messages on my daughter’s coffee. Looks like son in-law material.”
Oh lighten up, Francis. You should be proud your daughter is so good-looking. Tbh, I think this is hilarious and totally harmless. Flirt on, Mr. Barista.
