“Bye Bye Bye” to NSYNC and “Hello” to Adele!
…Sorry. I couldn’t resist.
Adele just broke yet another record. This time, it’s her new album, 25, that has shattered the previous record holder for most albums sold in a week. NSYNC held the title for 15 years, after their 2000 album No Strings Attached sold 2,416,000 albums within seven days of its release.
Pretty impressive, but Adele’s new album killed that record, selling over 2.3 million copies in just three days.
So how did the boys of NSYNC feel about this? Pretty damn good actually. I mean, if someone is going to beat your record, you want it to be Queen Adele.
