Brandon Reilly, a receiver for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers, is under fire for sharing a photo on his Twitter gloating about stiffing a waiter. On the receipt, Reilly leaves no tip, but does put a little note that reads “Next time be more observant about who’s eating before bashing on a team.” His tweet reads, “Food was delicious though.”
Anyone who has worked in a restaurant knows how sh*tty it feels to be stiffed a tip. Poor Trey.
So Brandon Reilly tried to get a laugh by not leaving a tip. I’m sure Trey will survive without the $5, but the proper term for putting this photo on Twitter is “shooting yourself in the foot.” How could Reilly not know that people would get on his case? Just a dumb move and unfunny joke.
He has since deleted the photo, but not before plenty of screenshots made their way around the web.
Social media these days 😐😐 For all those tweeting opinions, don't be quick to judge when you don't know many details.

Phone couldn't handle the madness..don't regret posting it. People can't be disrespectful & expect things in return https://t.co/IMJXD4U3NC
