Winter can be a really, really awful time. It’s cold, people are pale and cranky, and it gets dark at like noon.
Every year, people try and do whatever they can to distract themselves from the misery that surrounds them outside. There are many ways to do this – from hanging bright colorful lights and staring at shiny objects like Christmas tree ornaments, to baking chocolate chip cookies and staying in your fuzzy bathrobe for days on end.
