WATCH: This College Student’s ‘Inside Out’ Recreation Will Have You In Tears

If you thought the movie Inside Out was a real tearjerker, this college student found a way to make it just as heart-wrenching.

The popular Disney-Pixar film, released back in June, focuses on a girl named Riley and her emotions (Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear) as she goes through several changes throughout her life. However Jordan Hanzon, a film student at the University of Utah, decided to recreate the film without any of the notable emotion characters, calling it Inside Out: Outside Edition. Hanzon’s version of the film compiles of every scene in the movie that doesn’t feature the characters portraying emotions.

“I think it’s a sign of great filmmaking and story when, even without the meat of the film, it holds itself as a standalone,” Hanzon told USA TODAY College. “You can still see Riley’s story and feel what’s she’s going through, regardless of not being able to see what she’s literally feeling through Joy and Sadness.”
