Netflix Reveals Release Dates For ‘Orange Is The New Black’ & More

If your form of procrastination is binge watching your favorite Netflix series, you’re about to hear some amazing news. On Sunday at the Television Critics Association’s press tour, Netflix announced the release dates for its 2016 returning and brand new series. In short? You won’t be lacking for procrastination outlets or lazy Sunday television material this year.

Additionally, if you’re a fan of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Netflix announced that the series will return to the streaming service for a second installment. It’s going to be a great year for television, people (or a great year for procrastination and lazy weekends – take your pick!).

Love

The 10-episode series from Judd Apatow follows two characters as the navigate the world of modern romance and relationships. The series premieres on February 11.

Fuller House

The continuation of the beloved series, Full House, Fuller House follows the story of D.J. Tanner-Fuller who is a widow and mother of three. When things become too hectic, she asks for help from her sister Stephanie and her best friend Kimmy. The show debuts on February 26.

House Of Cards

The critically-acclaimed political drama that features Kevin Spacey returns to Netflix for its fourth season on March 4.

Flaked

Chip, who is played by Will Arnett, is a long time Venice, California, who is struggling to stay ahead of his own lies. An eight-episode series, the program will premiere on March 11.

The Ranch

Co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson come together for The Ranch: a comedy that tells the story of Colt (Kutcher) who returns to the family ranch in Colorado after a failed football career. The 10-episode series debuts on April 1.

Lost & Found Music Studios

Lost & Found Music Studios is a live-action series that tells the story of teenage musicians at a prestigious music studio who are trying to make their way through the music industry and life. It premieres on Netflix on April 1.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt follows the story of Kimmy who starts over in New York after living in an underground cult for 15 years. The second installment will be released on April 15.

King Kong: King Of The Apes:

King Kong: King Of The Apes is an animated children’s series that takes place in 2050 where King Kong is the star attraction of the Natural History and Marine Preserve on San Francisco’s Alcatraz Island. King Kong goes missing and an evil genius unleashes a gigantic robot army on the unsuspecting world. The series premieres on April 15.

Marseille

Gérard Depardieu leads this French series that focuses on the corruption and politicking around a local election for a casino in the historic city center of Marseille. The eight-episode series will premiere on May 5.

Grace And Frankie

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin star in the comedy that returns for its second season. Fonda and Tomlin play women whose husbands have left them to start their own relationship. The series will be released on May 6.

Orange Is The New Black

The fourth installment about the inmates at Litchfield Prison returns to Netflix on June 17.

Stranger Things

Winona Ryder and Matthew Modine are featured in a show about supernatural forces, secret experiments and the disappearance of a little boy. The eight-episode program is released on July 15.

The Get Down

Baz Luhrmann’s music-driven drama is set in a broken and violent 1970s New York that tells the story of South Bronx teenagers who give birth to hip-hop, punk and disco. The cast includes Shameik Moore, Jimmy Smiths and Tremaine Brown Jr. and premieres on August 14.
