My future changed as often as my clothes when I was a kid. I wanted to play in the WNBA (making the all-star team really went to my head apparently) or own an ice cream truck (that dream hasn’t really died). At one point, I really wanted to be a dentist for some unknown reason. No matter what, my parents would say that I could be whatever I wanted to be, as long as I got high honor roll.
Maybe parents should stop saying stuff like that. Exhibit A: Nano, a 20-year-old Norwegian girl who identifies as a cat. She claims she was “born in the wrong species.”
Why? Because she hates water, likes to meow, and has a good sense of hearing. Obviously she’s a feline.
“I realized I was a cat when I was 16 when doctors and psychologists found out what was ‘the thing’ with me,” Nano said. “Under my birth there was a genetic defect … I think I will be cat all my life.”
Nano communicates with her bestie Svien through “cat language,” which they both understand. He’s not totally a cat though – he has multiple personalities, one of which is a cat. Riveting stuff.
Check out her recent interview with NRK P3 Verdens Rikeste Land where divulges the secrets of her life as a cat, which has been viewed over 350,000 times in the past two days.
I also hear she’s single, fellas.
Well, since Nano can be a cat, then I want to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel. That was easy. See you on the runway, Gigi and Kendall.
