Blake Lively Told To Uncross Her Legs At Fashion Week Show

Who knew that refusing to uncross your legs would cause such a public hubbub?

Sure, there are things you can expect if you’re lucky enough to sit front row at a New York Fashion Week show such as cameras in your face and being surrounded by celebrities. Certainly, however, uncrossing your legs is not one of them.

At the Michael Kors show on Wednesday, Blake Lively refused to comply with the photographers’ “crossed legs rule” which caused quite an uproar at the fashion show.

Lively sat front row with her mother and friends, Naomie Harris and Riley Keough. According to Zap2It, the group was personally told by John D. Idol, the company chairman, to uncross their legs before the show began, but none of them listened.

However, it’s critical to mention that the photographers at the Michael Kors show weren’t making an unreasonable request. Front row attendees are commonly asked to uncross their legs in order to keep the runway clear for photos.

Despite the initial chaos, the show went on as planned.

Frankly, if you’re given the honor to sit front row at a New York Fashion Week show, you should cooperate. Just because you don’t have to work the show doesn’t mean that other people aren’t working. Give the photographers some respect, Lively.
