Just when I thought people who idolized a Barbie doll enough to emulate it IRL, I hear about this 57-year-old woman who has spent close to $60,000 on cosmetic surgery to look like her own daughter…who already looks like her because of genetics.
I wish I were kidding, but Janet Horrocks has gone under the knife for two breast augmentations, laser resurfacing, a nose job, botox, fillers, and more just to resemble her 35-year-old daughter’s twin.
While Janet gets off on being mistaken as the twin of her child, Jane Cunliffe, Jane is predictably not as thrilled about mom’s transformation.
“When I found out first that my mom wanted to base herself on me, I was terrified,” Jane said. “My mom does not take my feelings into consideration.”
She continues that her mom is going to do what she wants, regardless of her feelings.

Well, Janet did succeed in looking younger, given that I first thought that Jane was the mother in this scenario. Awkward.
