Robyn Lawley is known as the size-12 model who first dazzled in the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, but did you know that she’s also a mother who shot her photos for the 2016 SI issue just six months after getting birth to daughter Ripley? What I’m saying here is this woman is a superstar.
The model revealed how she stays in tip-top shape to Elle, sharing her daily work out routine and meal-by-meal diet plan. Think you could stick to her healthy routine?
Eggs on toast with chopped red onion, garlic, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, and home-grown kale. And don’t forget the coffee!
“When I am at home, I cook my own food,” Robyn revealed. “I get so tired of hotel food after having to eat it so often when I am on the road traveling for jobs. When I cook I choose good local ingredients and pick from my own vegetable garden.”
Smoothie made with frozen banana and either coconut water, milk, or nut milk.
“I also add kale from our garden or baby spinach, then I add frozen strawberries and blend for a tasty green smoothie which Ripley loves.”
Salad made of vegetables such as red onions, kale, baby spinach, radishes, carrot, peppers, butter head lettuce, and fruit like avocados, pineapple, mango, or apple. Robyn also reveals she’ll add sunflower seeds or smashed almonds, or boiled eggs and tuna for a little more substance.
“Ratatouille is one of my specialties and my favorite dishes!” Robyn says. “It’s a hearty meal full of fresh vegetables. Again, the produce is rich this time of year so all the vegetables taste the best…My ratatouille consists of: two large eggplants, two brown onions, three different colored bell peppers, six to eight medium zucchinis, and four large tomatoes. The next day it even tastes better! Tomorrow I will either mix the leftovers in with my eggs for breakfast or save it for lunch.”
As for exercise, Robyn says she works out with a trainer and also loves to go on hikes as the sun sets.
Since there’s no mention of pizza OR wine, I’m out. But then again, I will never look like Robyn. Her dedication is definitely paying off.
