News flash, fellas – girls don’t pretend to enjoy sports just to impress you. Many ladies legitimately bleed the colors of their team the same way you do, maybe even more hardcore. So next time you want to quiz them on sports trivia just to prove they’re for real, watch out.
Megan Brown took to Twitter to share a recent encounter with a guy she met on a dating app who thought her baseball obsession was just some ploy to have something in common with guys. His attempt to expose her turned into a genius shut down on Megan’s part.
“It’s so insulting when dudes try to quiz me about sports soooo i had a little pun fun,” Megan wrote along with a screenshot of the convo.
Any more questions, buddy?
Though she did go over the 10 second time limit, this response was worth it (plus, Megan told us it probably took her less than 30 seconds to craft this killer text – impressive).
“For as long as I’ve been dating, I’ve dealt with men asking me to prove my sports fandom,” Megan told us. “And, if you take a look at my mentions, I’m not alone! That said, there are also plenty of great guys out there who are supportive of fellow sports fans, regardless of gender.”
There’s always someone else to take out to the ball game.
