Meet Efren Style, The Self-Proclaimed “House Husband” Of Beverly Hills

Every day, Christopher wakes up and goes to his job as a doctor while his partner stays home doing household chores, going on designer shopping sprees, having tea time, and applying 24-carat gold face masks to look beautiful (and have dinner ready) when Christopher gets home.

No, this isn’t a scene from a sitcom set in the 1950s – it’s simply daily life for Efren Style, the self-proclaimed “House Husband of Beverly Hills.” In fact, he thinks the idea of a housewife, or house hubby in his case, should make a comeback…with a twist.

“I just feel that it’s time to bring back that period of time when women were housewives,” he told News Dog Media. “That is, when women typically stayed home, took care of their husband, attended to the house, while the breadwinner provided the assets needed to maintain the stability of the household. These women were always dressed in their best outfits and always had a full face of make-up on. I just feel that period has been lost in today’s time and I’m just taking that idea and applying it to the gay world. One partner should always take the role of being the trophy house husband.”
