KFC Tried Making A Dirty Joke And Failed Miserably – See The Deleted Tweet

I’m learning a few things today, and it’s not even 10 a.m. First, there’s KFC in Australia. Second, fast food chains should probably refrain from the use of dirty jokes at all times.

KFC Australia tried to make a funny with this tweet, making use of the blur screen to suggest something scandalous is happening on this couch.

People lost their damn minds with clever jokes about the raunchy image, and the tweet was deleted two hours later…which is about two hours too late in internet time.

Others say that Kentucky Fried Chicken stole the marketing idea from McDonald’s, where a woman is giving a guy a Big Mac.

KFC gave this statement to Buzzfeed:

“This was a genuine tweet to launch KFC’s new Hot & Spicy chicken products next week. It was not intended to offend and we’ve removed the image.”

Now that’s a finger lickin’ good fail.
